Message: Current discussion at BlogWilliamsburg.net: A Separate School System for Williamsburg? Joe, has there been any more talk amongst your planning commission folks and/or neighbors regarding the separation of the city-county schools? It is my view that this is the time to make the break. In addition to my concerns as a parent and taxpayer, I am none too pleased seeing children bused long distances to remote county schools. Many of these folks don’t have cars and these distances have serious repercussions on their daily lives. What are your thoughts on the school issue?
