An Intimate Courtyard
A new addition to the home created a view from the kitchen breakfast nook onto an unappealing area. The small volume of space, combined with the owners activities in the area, called for an intimate setting that allowed beautiful, private views while enjoying morning coffee.
A fence, designed to respond to the architecture of the site and surrounding historic Williamsburg creates the required privacy without an abrupt feeling of separation.
The new private space invites you out to enjoy the morning sun.
